Membership

You’re welcome here

Rutherford County Woodworkers is for all skill levels. If you like wood — or want to learn — come to a meeting. You don’t need a full shop or a portfolio.

How to join

  1. Visit a meeting — 4th Tuesday, 7:00 pm, Rutherford County Administration Building auditorium, 289 Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC (no meeting in December). See Meetings.
  2. Introduce yourself — ask about membership, dues, and any forms.
  3. Stay for the fellowship — shop talk is part of the point.

What we don’t list here

The following are not published here because they are unverified for the website package. Ask at a meeting (or confirm with Sam) rather than expecting numbers on this page:

  • Dues amount and payment method
  • Membership form / application PDF
  • Full officer or board list (beyond President Sam Adams)
  • Member benefits checklist
  • Shop access or tool-lending rules (if any)

Who’s in charge (verified only)

  • President & registered agent: Sam Adams
  • Other officers: TBD — ask at a meeting

Community builds

Members and helpers often pitch in on Toys for Tots wooden toys (2026 goal 400; builds often starting around March). See Community. Volunteering details: ask at a meeting.
